In our latest case study Cameron Law and David Johnstone, directors of MES Pensions explain how adopting Platinum SIPP~Pro has acted as a springboard to help realise their growth ambitions:
Originally launching through a white-label provider, Cameron and David wanted greater control of their product features and customer service so they decided to bring their SIPP administration in-house. Recognising that smart use of technology would be vital, they set about finding a technology partner that could fully support them on their journey. Delta’s cloud-deployed Platinum SIPP~Pro was the standout solution, meeting all of their requirements and in their words, leaving them with ‘an easy decision’.
“If your systems aren’t on a platform like Platinum you’re not going to be in business for very long. You can’t operate a SIPP without it, especially when there’s so much pressure on costs right now such as UK product fees. The only way to handle the pressure on costs is to save time on processing and improve efficiencies – that’s where Platinum has made a huge difference for us.”
Cameron and David believe that the decision to adopt Platinum SIPP~Pro is a key step in their ambition to be the leading SIPP provider to the expat market, with a target to at least double the size of their book over the next 12 months. Their strong working partnership with the Delta team means that they are well placed to make the best possible use of the Platinum technology, further streamlining their operations and using it to firmly underpin their growth ambitions.
Kate Clarke, Delta Relationship Manager, commented “From the moment I met Cameron and David I knew that they would be great to work with. Their vision to build their business with technology at its heart, removing all the heavy lifting and ensuring they meet all their regulatory obligations, meant that we could work with them to ensure their processes were aligned to Platinum from the very start to gain optimum benefit. The results of this are already evident, as their business is growing fast, and Platinum has allowed them to easily handle the additional volume.
The MES team work closely with our Support team to increase their knowledge of Platinum and have already expanded their use of it to the point that we have identified additional modules they can take on to help them further in maximising efficiencies. We will continue to support MES as they grow their business, and I am really looking forward to supporting them to achieve their ambition of being the leading SIPP provider to the expat market.”
