William Russell, The Lord Mayor of London visited Delta at the Engine Room in Birmingham yesterday. Delta are of the first eight tech firms chosen by the Investment Association (IA) to take part in Velocity Birmingham, a new state-of-the-art FinTech hub. The facility is a collaboration between the IA’s FinTech hub and accelerator, Velocity, along with IA member firm, Wesleyan.
Velocity Birmingham provides a valuable hub for FinTech innovation and development, supporting FinTechs based in the West Midlands. As one of the chosen innovators, Delta has access to a network of existing investment management firms and co-working space, to develop technology to help Britain’s savers and investors. Delta are excited to be part of Velocity Birmingham and our participation is enabling the acceleration of their iFreedom development project to enhance the digital capability of our solutions
The Lord Mayor, who is an international ambassador for UK financial services met Iain Tait, CIO Delta, who commented
